Shedsoft Clickpc is a simple program to send SMS messages using a company called 'clickatell'.
Sending SMS messages, particularly in bulk can be expensive, so, whilst looking for the best value for money, I found www.clickatell.com. ** Be aware** clickpc requires that you go to the clickatell site and sign up for the http api. Whilst you are there check on the cost per SMS. In my case, the costs are around .8 of a unit. A unit cost is presently around 3 pence. So it costs around 2.4p per SMS. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE make sure that you fully understand the costs involved.
If you take the time to read and understand the costs, you will probably agree that clickatell is VERY VERY good value.
When you have signed up you will get a api_id number, a user name and a user password. you will need to enter these into the settings part of the software.
As usual, Shedsoft Clickpc software is supplied FREE of charge and you use it entirely at your own risk. Shedsoft has no connections with clickatell in any shape or form, other than, we use their services.
